Dr. Pamela Coker is the president, CEO and co-founder of Acucorp, Inc., which she started in 1988 with her brother Drake. Acucorp, a San Diego software company, provides innovative technologies for the modernization and enhancement of business-critical COBOL applications. She has more than 25 years of experience in computer and software technology and has worked extensively with natural language processing - first at the University of California, San Diego where she earned a degree in cognitive science, then at the University of California, Irvine where she was awarded a doctorate and recognized for her accomplishments with a research specialty in computational linguistics.

Dr. Coker has been the focus of several industry distinctions and awards. Most recently, she received "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), San Diego Chapter. She has also been a finalist for "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Ernst & Young as well as the "Total Excellence in Management" award. Dr. Coker was featured in the article "Strategies for the New Export Boom" by Fortune Magazine and in the early 90s, she was listed in "The 50 Most Influential Women in San Diego Business" by San Diego Women's Times.

Randy Broberg, recently named one of the best transactional intellectual property attorneys in San Diego by the San Diego Daily Transcript, is a partner at the law firm of Allen Matkins. His diverse clients have included representing General Atomics in a manufacturing arrangement against a Korean company, representing tennis player Serena Williams to acquire the domain name www.serenawilliams.com, and trademark representation of Directed Electronics which makes the Viper car alarms.
