Sue Watson, Chief Operating Officer of LevitZacks CPA’s, is the most recent addition to
the leadership team. After working with the Levitzacks’ team as a client for
the past 20 years, Watson stepped to the other side of the desk and became the
COO in February 2007. Watson successfully led San Diego’s largest locally owned
ground transportation provider for four years, taking that entity from a
stagnant position in the market to a blossoming enterprise, ultimately leading
to its sale to an international transportation giant. Prior to that, Watson
worked with one of San Diego’s local venture capital funds as their CFO for 13
years. That position allowed her to participate in more than 30 merger and
acquisition transactions, providing her with the experience of working with all
phases of an entity’s lifecycle from start-up through disposition. Sue is a
native San Diegan, a graduate of the University of San Diego Business School,
and lives with her family in East County.
